Speaking of suspension mods, I am thinking to pair the Koni shocks with the springs it comes with, the H&R sport. I thought about getting the harder ones but after all I do not want it too stiff, as I don’t want it to be too nervous under pressure.
I also think the Konis were built for those springs.
Camber plates: what’s so expensive about them?! Everyone is selling the pair for $500. Are there any better or worst kits in this range? I like how the Godspeed coilover setup costs $700 for shocks, springs and camber plates…mmmm
Will change the bushings as well, still undecided whether to do rubber or not.
Will purchase the bump steer fix kit as I don’t plan to upgrade the uprights.
The rods will also be addressed obviously.
As for sway bars, I am kinda tempted to go with the H&R setup and the very thick rear bar. I like the car to be tail happy but I am afraid that that bar (26mm if I recall) was built more for C4s than C2s. Anyone has this setup on a C2?
Option B is to leave the rear as it is and put a thick front bar.
As for the exhaust, I am looking at headers and exhaust systems and will probably build something from scratch (headers aside).
Intake wise – I was thinking about installing a carrera S 3.8 airbox and somehow find a way to channel air to this airbox from outside of the car. Sort of “active induction”. I would probably need a “snorkel” a la Range Rover Camel Trophy edition to catch the air and channel it in. I saw how the side opening a la YellowBird RUF car did not work well and they were actually “pushing air out of the 2 Nacas instead of sucking air in.

What's everyone using for headers?
are there any Titanium headers in the market?
Is there a design that is proven to work or basically anything different than stock will work fine?
Not interested in heat at the moment.

After wide research I decided to go with the Eibach swaybar kit.
Product code is E40-72-003-01-11
Front is 24mm / rear is 22mm

Well it's lonely out here...
Received the Eibach Sway Bar kit - full review as soon as I am able to fit them but the red box looks amazing
I will be going to the Tejastreffpunkt if anyone is joining too - located in Houston - Arts and Porsches.
Many ideas after seeing a few P-cars at SEMA.
I need to add the GT3 central exhaust (anyone has one for sale?) to the list.
I am also thinking of removing anything that "sucks" power from the engine and go electric.
The car will not have power steering but will have A/C - anyone knows which electric AC devices are available? Do you guys think it's worth?

I just saw the electric AC kit on Pelican...
I think I will keep the OEM system...

What else is in the list suspension wise?
Well I remember @Spyerx (misspelled probably) had a cool list of option a/b/c and while I don't intend to go RS uprights I do want the Bump Steer correction kit for sure.
Once I have all the parts the suspension teardown will begin.
The 964 RS engine should be on the way and arrive by the end of the year - then it's assembly time!

And then the headers came...
No heat because Texas, these seem to be the famed George's Headers with O2 bung.
They are new - now I need to find a GT3 rear muffler.
I also bought a MAF conversion kit and a chip.
Aiming to the unrealistic value of 320hp at the crank
I will do an "old engine / new engine" dyno since I am curious to know how much "juice" is left on a 150k+ miles engine that still runs. And how much power I can get out of the newish 964RS engine (which is not stock, has been reworked) + MAF + Chip + Headers.
I am looking for the following parts if you can help me:
- Good condition (not perfect) 3 piece Tail Lights
- GT3 central muffler
- Pair of Recaro Pole Position needing reconditioning or expired

I have replaced the oil on the 964 this weekend. As the motor is coming out anyways I just wanted to “flush the system” and I used the cheapest good mineral oil I could find: Pennzoil 20W-50. I changed the filter too (of course). Interesting enough as I go to open the tank drain valve I see the bolt very dirty. Like VERY dirty. Thinking it’s just the position, exposed to the road debris, I don’t think about it too much.As I removed it (after a LOT of effort) I looked inside and it was full of Gunk! I don’t think the previous owner has ever drained the tank! (Or maybe it’s normal?). Or I don’t think PO has ever done the correct procedure of waiting the car to be fully warmed up and have the thermostat open.
The car was running much quieter afterwards.
The engine is coming out in January so I didn’t want to waste the Mobil1 0W-40 for this oil flush.

The center warning light is on BUT no other lights are on...
There is no buzzing coming either so I can't really tell what's missing.
Tonight I will take out the dash instruments and begin going over all the bulbs. I was tempted to just replace the 10x 0.9w and 27x 1.5w but at $60 the whole set and since all my main bulbs work I decided to move forward in "inspection" mode.

Make sure the penzoil has at least 1200 ppm zinc. Damage can quickly result from low zinc levels.
Tank will accumulate water from condensation and produce gunk around plug. I change oil every Spring to get rid of water.
Do you have a way to read codes? If not there are a few options from relatively cheap public domain software (requires cable), to more expensive and comprehensive Durametrics program and hammer clone PDT999.
