Default DME/Fuel issues

1990 964 Starts and runs fine for abut 5 minutes then starved for fuel if I turn the key off and back on it runs OK for 1-2 minutes then shuts off, that is how I got it home one hand on the key turning it back and forth off-on replaced the DME relay and it did not help any ideas?

Could be many things.

First one that comes to mind is a vacuum leak.

Can you smoke test your car to get your diag started?

How fresh is your fuel filter? Sounds like a fuel delivery issue. If the filter is recently changed, I would check the fuel pressure. There was a recent thread that discussed the testing.
