There is no need to panic. Costco happen to have only Michelins (as far as I could see) so it was supposed to be a useful price guide for anyone else who was interested in looking at Costco...

Haven't really tried them properly yet. But the car was handling so crap on part worn bridgestones that they already feel a million times better. I haven't pushed it so far - but they feel very promising and feel like they have plenty of grip.

Ah Costco - I bought a set of 4 Michelin Pilot Sports (standard 16" design 90 wheels), cost was £416. I got a £35 discount for buying 4 using the Costco 'passport'. I had my wheels refurbished at the same time, so didn't have the tyres fitted by Costco but still got charged £2 per tyre for fitting and balancing! Apparently, the till system adds it automatically - I was going to take it up with the store, but there was a massive queue for customer services.....
