Anyone on here done a fuel pump upgrade with the Bosch 044 unit? Is it a direct swap or are new/additional fittings required to make everything work?

You need a stubby M18 to 12mm tailpiece fitting on the inlet to the 044 pump.

Thanks for the info. Does the banjo side fit as is then?

*edit* What would be the best way to measure the thread pitch that's needed for the M18 to 12 fitting?

M18x1.5, same as a lambda sensor.
In fact, one way to make the tailpiece is to use a stainless steel hexagon headed lambda sensor plug, drill the centre out in a lathe and silver solder in a piece of stainless steel pipe. Done loads like this myself.

Banjo side is fits as normal.

I have a Genuine Bosch 044 for sale with the adapter, I bought the fuel pump hoping to fix my no starting problem, But it turned out to be a loose MAF connection plug.

Paid $ 279 for the Bosch 044 fuel pump and $40 for the adapter from Turbokraft.
