10 years! (of ownership)
Celebrated 10 years of ownership this past weekend!
It's been an amazing ride so far. I don't think I can ever be without a 964 at this point.
It's my first Porsche and everything I had hoped 911 would be about (from this forum experience, PCA events, track days, mountain drives, kids to school and weekly grocery hunting)

Congrats.
For some reason I had always thought you owned the 964 for a lot longer.
I have seen your posts since I joined and it seemed like you were already a senior member of the Rennlist for a long time.

Congrats! Your regular enthusiasm is truly appreciated and infectious.
or me, the 964 was the first material thing I owned that wasn't disappointing in some form. To the contrary - it seems to get better with age.

wife & I are working on our 12th year of 964T ownership, and prior to that had 20 yrs of various older Porsche ownerships leading up to the 964.... But one thing we certainly agree on...
is that 964 ownership has been BY-FAR the biggest satisfaction out of all of them.
... although nothing against all the newer water-cooled variants,.... we try not to compare. For the last 2 yrs we've owned a TT 958,... and yea that thing is a blast every day to drive....
but we COULD NEVER get rid of the 964. "Visceral" is the way I like to describe it. I get the jitters every time I am behind the wheel.
CONGRATS 911Jetta!!!

Thanks everyone. It was a bit of a random post, but had to share the milestone.
Based on some responses above, I'm only "mid-life" in my Porsche ownership... still so much to learn!
With so many new members on this forum (and many old dawgs too), I should have included a "how long have you owned your 964" poll.
(a pic to make this post legit)
