the dealer won't have the kit but on the other parts you can get the part numbers here then check with the dealer sometimes you get a better price from the dealer. I use these guy's http://www.gaudinporscheparts.com/ good service and price.

RM European had the lowest as a full setup. Sebro flywheel, Sachs PP, Sachs spung disk.

The full setup from Sunset Porsche is about $500 more.

Pelican is in the middle.

Do you know what is different on the early cars that makes LWFW incompatible? I see on european websites mentions of "late models only".

I have a 1990 but I suspect that means it is an early car here in Europe. It's an L-chassis.

Do you have a link? I'm 99% sure the setup is compatible, but you just need to buy more parts. It may be that in 92 they switched the pressure plate and that factory PP is compatible. The earlier cars you just need to buy the lot. Also, 89 used the rubber disk same as my 89 carrera (POS, that just got ripped out of my 89 for a proper setup).

Pretty sure about this. The setup will work, you just need updated parts.

The site is in French (one of the best Porsche parts sites in Europe, by the way) but it's self explanatory. The part is for 964s but it says except for 89 and early models. Mine is a 1st of Jan 1990 registration so I am not sure if my car is considered an early model. All I know is that I have an L in the chassis designation when others might have an M.

Pretty sure due to the 89 rubber centered clutch. Talk to your mechanic but I'm going to bet you'll be OK. Now in US, 89 is a model year, not a manufactured date. So not exactly sure which is which in your case :-) The system we use is a bit different.

I've travelled approx. 20,000km on a new pressure plate. I've just taken the clutch out to do an engine reseal. What is the new thickness of a clutch plate? I want to know so I can gauge wear. Normally I like to attend to wear items early but I think the wear to date is minimal so I'm inclined to refit it.

Edit: my plate has 1.35mm min above the rivet head and should be replaced when at 0.3mm.

wait, i have stock flywheel, and recently got a new complete lwfw with clutch and pressure plate... can i just drop in? or need a bunch of new bits? i have the shorter clutch bolts...

Just the longer guide tube for the gbox.
