Default Tie Rod End Removal

I'm taking my steering rack out to have it rebuilt. Do the outer tie rod ends come out without unbolting the strut? I tried rotating the hub assembly in and out and I also placed a
jack under the lower control arm to change the angle but is is just too close to the bottom of the strut. . I can't manage to get it out. Both side have this problem. Any tricks I'm missing?

It should work. It's been several years, but I know I've done it. Try to turn the wheel left.

I replaced mine a couple of years ago no issues. Looking at your picture it might work to back off on the lock nut and rotate the the tie rod end a little to pull it out

Got it! Backing off the lock nut on the tie adjuster sleeve allowed me to twist it just right to get it out. THANKS for the help.
