Graphite black ... hard to select with a non-metallic color and the samples they send don't always reflect final color it seems. More contrast against fashion gray seems better.
Any input would be appreciated.
More than likely graphite black.

Would have to be 18 inch because of 355 mm discs. 17" cup 1's don't fit ... anyone know of any 18" cup 1's on the aftermarket?

E88s getting checked for rear fitment.
Considering leaving the centers silver and not cerakoting in tungsten like the rest of the external bits. May do that later.

Auxiliary oil cooler placement is a challenge ... Ruf version that piggybacks on the air con condenser maybe the way to go.

All new oil lines in place ... total renewal of everything.

I know its low class to ask how much a resto like this costs. Buuuut. Ball park, if I wanted to do a resto with the goal of a Daily driver with "current" creature comforts. Are we looking like basically a 2016 911 c4s price?

Custom paint sticker applied.
Wiring for LED headlights in place ... fitting Flat Six leds is a challenge to do it right ... adjustment side to side is not possible and they don't anchor in well according to shop.
New RennLine medium engine mounts in.
Decided to replace all rubber door seals and gaskets and replace rear tail lights ... old and worn doesn't look right on this project.

Thanks for checking in ... picture was taken a couple of weeks ago.
It's now in Detroit for interior. Finalizing interior combo ... likely final setup:

1) Full one piece Alcantara headliner with no seam from whole A-pillar to top of B-pillars
2) Vinyl Dash with dual diviated
stitching in color of roll bar heim joints (silver).
3) Recover instrument surround in black leather or vinyl.
4) Lower dash in Alcantara or leather ... haven't decided yet.
5) Center console trimmed in Alcantara.
6) Carpet in sliver knit - black.
7) RS dooorcards recovered in leather.
8) Upper door trim pieces to be recovered in Alcantara
9) Yellow RS door pulls.
10) Rear interior quarters to be retrimmed in Alcantara uppers and leather lowers.
11) B pillars in leather upper Alcantara ... lower leather.
12) Rear RS "style" sliverknit carpet to be placed under rear quarters.
13) Rear parcel shelf to be finished in Alcantara up top and leather below.
14) Rear RS "style" sliver knit carpet piece to be supplied and available to Velcro when rear seats are removed and roll bar installed.
15) Front seats to refinished with a slot for sub belt and deviated stitching in the perimeter and Alcantara in the center ... Recaro CS Seats
16) Rear Seats to match fronts.
17) Front trunk to be refinished with illuminated window for paint sticker. Quilt style leather from top to bottom ... carbon fiber tray for liner.

Just ordered lightweight rear glass from Cult-Werks in Germany that doesn't have rear defrost or U.S. mandated rear 3rd tail light grid ... going with 993 style 3rd brake light.

Going with tinted headlight buckets or lenses. They are easy to swap out ... not digging the yellow.
Also will match cerakote wheel centers on E28's or E88's ... haven't decided. Other option I'm considering is deep dished Fuch 18s that would be color matched in centers somehow.

Rebuilt transmission with new LSD just arrived. Kept gearing stock but everything that was consumable was replaced.

Cerakoted instrument rings with speed yellow tach.

Window trim cerakoted in same color along with wipers, door handles, rear engine grate and center reflector replacement panel. I may go with custom rear engine grate and center light replacement panel from John at Olsen Motorsports.

Car won't be ready until spring ... worth the wait.

Looks Amazing. Can i ask a silly question? What do you do for a living? I have to scrape up $$ for a Rennline battery kit. Can’t imagine have the coin for a cost no object refresh! Also, I would look into the Rennline lower dash delete. Makes interior seem a little more spacious, and i’m sure your interior guy could clean it up under there when it’s removed. Looking good!!
