.... that I bought my beloved 964 cab. Yes, it was definitely a Halloween treat. Unfortunately, some of the neighborhood kids decided to play a trick and used my rear decklid as a whiteboard. Fortunately, I was able to get the Magic Marker scribblings off with Klasse car polish.

So what have the 6 years of Porsche ownership brought?

1 Todd Serota Driver's Ed event at Willow Springs.

2 major services.

3 autocross schools.

4 Boxster 17" wheels and H&R Springs.

5 x 10,000 miles. (Give or take a few.)

6 sets of new rear tires. (OK, this may be a slight exaggeration.)

I've seen the Porsche mailing lists go from Porschefans to Porschelist to Rennlist, which has kept growing and growing. It's been a great ride so far -- my car still never fails to bring a smile to my face when I'm driving it, and I still get a rush when I go out to that nice little 911 in the parking lot, knowing that it's MINE!

We are lucky folks indeed -- enjoy your cars!

Where I park at the station each day there is an attendant who mans it all day and directs people to spaces in the morning. It always makes me smile when I come back at the end of the day to find he has reserved the 1st 10 spaces in the car park for the Porsche drivers to line them all up

Jim, I have a car park lease where I employ an old guy to run it,now and again a customer parks his 996 turbo there,I noticed the attendant parked it among the heaps until I informed him that such a car needs special treatment,now the attendant makes such a fuss when the 996 turbo turns up, he parks the car on its own away from the other cars and wont let anyone near it!!!!!bless him.
I would love to see a pic of the Porsches lined up at your car park.

December 16th will conclude my first year with my C2, of all of my toys, this is my favorite. I hope for another 6 good years for you.
