Default 964 AC heater problem

hello

Just got my ac system overhaul (almost everything new), and everything is working fine with the exception that after driving the car hard, the mix flaps open just enough to star getting warm air inside the car, we have adjusted the servos and the flaps several times and the work well, but after every fun drive they open right up.

any ideas ?

thank you
JV

Check the flapper boxes by the engine are freely moving. If they stick in the heat posturing they can force the hot are to the cabin. These flappers operate on pressure not motors. Just follow heat tubes off engine to find.

Also ensure your servos are not over extended and allowing the heat mix doors to open slightly.

You could use a Porsche-compatible OBD tool to read out any fault codes in the Climate Control Unit. This will point to any failing components. I would guess the servos themselves, or a mixer sensor or two.
Cheers,
Tore
