Default WOT + butterfly

All,
I only get WOT when I floor the pedal to the wood. If I just move the throttle a little by hand it immidiately release the idle switch. I understood that WOt should be engaged at 80%, so before the pedal hits the stop.
At this moment switch activation is 100% pedal position.

I expect if I adjust the cable the idle switch will not be activated anymore.

Also at full throttle I'm still able to move the handle at the throttle house 5mm which could indicate the 'butterfly' is not fully opened. Should there be no slack at full throttle or is 5mm normal?

Any help welcom, thanks in advance!

WOT limit should operate about 80%. The cables stretch over time but can be adjusted in the center tunel (not at the pedal...this is for pedal hight) Best done on a ramp so the undertrays can be removed and refitted easily. My cable had stretched beyond being able to get the adjustment and needed to be replaced.

Ok, thanks.

Question, how much slack does the lever have on your throttle house (controlling the butterfly) at full throttle?

I'm unsure what you mean. The cable connects to the lever, the lever controls the shaft and buttefly directly, there is no slack. When the wot switch is operated there is a further 10mm or so of throttle lever movement left to go, i.e 80-100%.

Solved the cable slack problem. Butterfly fully open when pedaal is presed fully.

I still get WOT at 100%, not earlier.

Is it possible to trim the WOT microswitch position?

The wot microswitch is operated by a cam which is mounted on the butterfly spindle. One side of the spindle is flat so its impossible to have the cam in the wrong position unless it is broken. The switch is not adjustable.
There should be slack on the cable at the idle position but wot is under tension. There butterfly can physically move past its full open position a few mm even when the accelerator is properly adjusted.

That is not true, the switch has limited adjustment. Loosen the screws that holds the bracket in place, and move the switch so it engages at 80% throttle.

Can you confirm that when the WOT switch is activate the 02 sensor feedback is disabled?

O2 input is ignored at WOT, DME select a WOT table at the moment WOT is activated.
WOT should be activated at the moment the pedal hits the 'metal'!
I don't understand the feedback on WOT activated at 80% of the pedal position. It's confimed by two specialist that pedal must hit the wooden panel to activate WOT.
I checked with scantool and 'my' WOT is activated exactly on the moment the pedal hits the floor.

WOT = Wide Open Throttle.

The flap opens earlier, at around 4500, you can hear the intake sound change/get louder.

Just checked my wot switch pushing the throttle by hand. The switch engages at approx 80-90% of full throttle. So I was wrong.
