Default Pole positions in a C4

I will be doing a proper intro soon as the car is almost ready. (i purchased RENNGTS's car)

But question. i installed one of the pole positions today and the inner seat belt receptacle that mounts to the seat on the tunnel side is SOOOO tight in there. there is pretty much no room for it (between seat and tunnel). i know many many before me have done this install so what am i missing.

Thanks!!

Zach

I have recaro sliders and side mounts with RS seatbelt mounts. They're snug but just fit. I'm not sure I'd like them 2" higher.

Thanks for the pic jpar, mine fine just like that.

and for the link formula i will have to ponder whether i would like it 2" higher. do you think with those extensions that they intend for the belt to come through the seat hole?

and i have not put harnesses in yet and am likely going to mount inner belt on the tunnel. Its not going to be a race car, but could see a DE at some point..

who has done what and why? i ask because of the comment in the FVD link that you need more than one for a harness

Mine look exactly the same too. No extension just the standard mounting point on the sliders.
