Hi John,
Mine reads just below with ignition off, and just above the zero line with ignition on.
Pressure reads 5 bar when cold at 3k rpm or more, 2 bar idle, and 4.5bar 3k rpm when hot with 1-2 bar at idle.

There is NEVER a oil pressure when the pump is not running, when you switch off your engine, the pressure will flow a way because the oil pump wheels are never 100% leak proof, there is always a % space between the oil pump housing and the wheels that pump the oil around. So, fur sure, after 5 minutes there is never any pressure on the oil system, the pump stops pumping when the engine is off, and the engine ventilation system ge'ts rid of the other pressures.
