Anyone swap this clutch slave hose part out?
my clutch slave hose male connector is seized and will not spin making it difficult to remove and install. i can only twist on the slave and attach directly to the transmission which is quite difficult to reach. perhaps easier while on the hoist? i am doing this from car on jack stands.
what special tools required?
my other idea is to hack the slave hose in half and get a swivel connector and some clamps. anyone know what kind of PSI pressure we are dealing with here?

I had the same issue. We bought a new hard line. You can take the tunnel cover off and take out the hard line if you just want to be done. Reinstall the new soft line and slave to the hard line and in you go.

I've worked tube fitting free using PB-Blaster and a wrench/vice grips. I would try that first. If it still doesn't break free you could also use a propane torch to un-seize it. Heat it up pretty hot and spray PB blaster on it and let it cool. The thermal expansion and contraction usually breaks the corrosion and allows you to break it free with a wrench. The WD stands for "water displacement formula 40" and I find it practically useless.

I've tried liquid wrench, wd40, aerokroil, etc and nothing works as good as PB Blaster. I sprayed it on exhaust manifold bolts on my rusty Oldsmobile 442 and the next morning a few of the bolts came out hand tight. I swear by the stuff.
