calling resident PTS experts, yet another "help me ID this color"
my 964 cabrio project is getting ready for paint but I've yet to ID the color I want to repaint the car in.
color in questions is wolfgang's 993 turbos that was(is?) parked at the porsche museum
i've also reached out to edwardo (Z356) regarding the color and he has shed some light but we still don't have a confirmed answer. if any one has any ideas, please share
in any case, car in question (pics borrowed from the interweb, different lighting, different cameras)
this article suggests that it is brewster green, but you can see that it is not nearly the same color (although brewster is quite handsome): http://www.9magazine.com/why-was-bre...ed-club-coupe/
about to raise the white flag and use a different green if i can't figure this out. please help!!

I'll email a contact I have at the Porsche Museum to see
if they are willing to share the exact color code & name
for that particular vehicle. The issue I see is that PAG,
when they announced the Limited Edition Club Coupe
in 2012, more than hinted that 'Brewster' was also the
color of Wolfgang's 993 Turbo at the Museum. And I
believe that is not correct...and now they may not want
to bring back this topic to the forefront & be embarrassed.

I must tell you that lately PAG & PCNA personnel have
been 'shy' in answering these emails, so I can't promise
we will get a meaningful response.
Saludos,
Eduardo

Burning Brakes
Looks like british racing green. Being pts it could literally be anything though, and not have a name. Could be the color of the orderer's favorite garden hose for all we know.

thanks for everyone suggestions, and thank you, Edwardo, for spending time to do extra research for me!
btw, the color in questions does not appear to be metallic. iirc, porsche's version of BRG is a metallic finish
if I find a painter to try to "paint to sample" (ironic in a sense, lol), what color do you guys think I should have him start off from?

alright guys, decision made. car is going to paint next week and i'm just going to stick with brewster green!
however, my painter cannot located the paint code for "porsche brewster green" in his database...what give? can anyone shed any light?
my google search skills only shows rennlister with a pts gt4 said the code is 22b, which also does not show up in the painter's database (actually, shows us as mini cooper british racing green pearl)
help please!!
