is it the head units that fail in the 964? Or is it the separate amps? Mine doesn't work. If it was a simple switch out to get bluetooth in the car, I'd consider it. Or do you end up also having to yank out the amp or bypass it to get to the speakers to receive the signal from the amp in the head units?

I yanked out amp for soeaker wires. I wasn't really caring. In hindsight, would of had a stereo guy do it to preserve the original connectors and bypass things correctly.

I wouldn't spend this much for a tech upgrade, especially in a 964.

Or could of been smart and done it the right way yourself. Not rocket science. Being smart would be avoiding the "stereo guy" at all costs not wishing you had used one
