Default Weird Seat belt light issue

Took the 964 for the 1st time this spring and noticed a weird issue with the seatbelt light. It was flickering as I was driving. It seemed to go out when I pushed on the clutch, then I noticed that it would flicker when I step on the dead pedal area. I noticed this all while driving. When I got home I took a look at the footwell area and didn't notice anything. Then I noticed when I would lean on the seat the light would flicker. I pressed on the seat near the seatbelt and the light would flicker again. I reached under the seat and jiggled the wire going to the seatbelt and pressed up on the seat now the light is not flickering.

Is there a switch built into the seat. Im just wondering what was loose or not working correctly to cause the seatbelt light to flicker. Any suggestions.

The seat belt latch (buckle receiver) is wired so the car knows when you buckle up.
You must have a short or a loose wire there.
