Sourcing new windshield targa seal.
Anyone know where to get a new rubber seal that sits on the windshield and runs the length? Mine has a split and I think it contributes to the wind noise. Getting top re-skinned as well.

Greg - Isn't that the same seal as used on the cabs? I replaced mine a while ago. I got mine from Sunset Porsche.
The seal is listed on PET 811-06. The part number is 911-799-565-80

Greg,
Apparently Cars Inc is the go to place in the states for Targa parts. His price was good but I decided to buy from the local Porsche dealer to save on the exchange and shipping. I paid $407 cnd for it. It is being installed today at a body shop. Having a rust spot at the base of the windshield fixed, new glass and a new seal while I'm at it.
Good Luck

Their are 2 types, genuine and OEM , the OEM have a sightly different profile although cheaper. Some possible issues with sealing just above the doors.
Best to go opc for the genuine article.
