I suppose the smart answer is they are terrible and everyone should take them off, and send me one. Real answer Its missing on this car and part of the aero pkg. If you have one let me know.

Almost convinced with it,
it's a faster car with less drag, no parachute effect or any vortex upsetting the rear end ,
should be developed as a diffuser .
Ok with it; its heavier in the wrong place, and the engine may run hotter in warm climates.

Curious if you would run into smog check issues when they do a visual of the underside. I'm not sure how the tray mounts or what it covers but would you still be able to see the cat and mufflers or would those be covered up too?

You can still see the cat and mufflers with the tray in place. I don't know about aero or sound reduction, but it does do a very good job keeping road gunk and corrosion away from the engine, brake lines, oil lines, fuel lines, etc. I put mine on for the winter and leave it off when I do my annual spring oil change.
