Second I noticed that your interior is missing the lower dash just like mine. Except mine is a ROW car so I believe that is the norm for ROW models. However, I always thought that all NA cars had the lower dash.

Example with lower dash -
Noticed the upper glove box in both our cars. It was replaced with lower glove box to make way for the passenger air bag.
Maybe it is because of the model year? Maybe the Canadian cars are closer to ROW than the US cars?
I personally like it better without the lower dash.

I finally cured the horrible tire noise from the circa 2004 tires and am very happy with the conti extremecontact dw's. I also decided to put 5mm spacers on the rears.
Is that fine or is the lack of front spacers and issue?

Rennlist is one of the greatest things ever created. I spent the weekend changing my oil (it was black as you can see from the pictures), replacing the hood struts, getting the license plate lights to work ( I replaced them with LEDs and repaired the wires), replaced my blown 5.25 inch speakers with 6.5 inch coaxials and some tweeters from a fellow rennlister, and fixed the sticking interior passenger door handle. If only I was always this productive with my time!
I will attempt to round up all the links I used to help me for those who are looking to do the same things.

Oil change
I am a new fan of Brad Penn 20w-50. The engine ran smoother the minute I changed it. Concerning that picture with the white bench, if the bolt on the bottom of the engine is stuck, I recommend jacking the left side, putting a 15mm wrench
on the bolt and wedging it against a hard surface, and then lowering the car on the jack. The weight of the car will loosen the bolt

Found the whole reason my license plate lights weren't working was two cuts in the wire deep in the bumper ( I went fishing with some needle nose pliers) and the badly corroded light housings. A simple and direct replacement was an LED version I found on Fleabay. Now they're almost too bright!

This is one of the reasons I left my LED plate lights in, they are super bright which is not a bad thing on such a small car at night.

I used these. It is a US section actually but the bulbs will work great regardless.

Their obnoxious brightness I consider a safety feature - more visibility can't hurt when trying to avoid being rear-ended by the text-messaging, distracted hordes. The anemic bulbs they replaced are ridiculously dim by comparison.
