I'd like to know more too.
Not just with the mechanics, but with the controllers.
Any info for MY 89 and up is helpful. And the more detailed the better.

Found these topics also but as you mention...not much useful for me....
Strange...for a good paintjob this spoiler has to be disassembled....so thought someone did a DIY on this topic, regarding alignment, position of microswitches,....
