Default BBS E88 vs LM's

For everyday street use what should one go with, BBS E88 or the LM's? Thanks!

I think e88's are much more attractive.

E88. I'm very biased. Have 3 sets now. Just got some for 964.
They have a more Motorsport / aggressive look. Nothing against lm, I just like the spoke design of the e88s

BBS specifically warns against using E88 wheels on the street.

They've developed a new wheel with the E88 look but for street use. Should be out soon.

Agreed. BBS e28 and e88 are Motorsport wheels, whilst LMs are a road wheels.

Many run either off and on track. Up to you.

Word of warning though, motorsport wheels are designed to be light by that nature they won't hold up well to hard road use...

That's great news. Now if they finish them with Radinox dishes they would be an ultimate road wheel.

I had a 964 RS for 10 years with E88:S. I used the car for trackdays but I drove to and from the tracks aswell. I had to change the liners a few times so they do not hold up that well.
When it comes to looks I think the E88 are a lot nicer than the LM.

If BBS has a road version of the E88 that would be my choice

Yes if roads are poor e88 are not all that great, can bend rim or leak. Potholes will destroy all wheels though That said they are really easy to repair/replace parts and I beat the crap out of mine on track and have yet to bend one.

Are you sure about the name as its a generic term that has been used for custom high end low volume wheels, or at least that's my understanding of that term.

How do the weights of all these wheels, stock and other high end wheels compare?

I would like E88 (with the stronger rim) but dealing with leaks and constant monitoring could be a pain.

AFAIK its correct. Its the term BBS of America quoted and if you zoom on the card in the pic it stated as such. I understand what you are saying though

I know the guys from BBS and chatted with them at SEMA. That's not the name of the wheel. They have not announced a name yet, stay tuned.
