Quality means everything to us, so we only source these parts directly in Germany. That may not mean a lot to some, many think that all of these parts come from Germany anyway. Not always the case!
Many OEM equipment manufacturers produce parts outside of Germany and even outside of Europe. Simply put, Quality Control Standards for those parts are not as high.
The reason that there are higher standards for Germany is due to an Automobile Repair Regulatory Agency called Zentralverband des Kraftfahrzeughandwerks, ZVK for short, which translates to Central Association of the Automobile Repair. All parts and repairs made inside Germany carry a “warranty period” of 2 years according to (§ 634a para. 1 No. 1 BGB, http://www.kfzgewerbe.de ). That means that parts supplied inside Germany are typically of a higher quality and tend to come from manufacturers in Germany and Europe.
The parts that we sell don’t have these out of box failures that are becoming so common in the U.S. That is why we insist on the added expense of air freighting our parts in from Germany. We may be judged as the “high water” mark in the industry but we will not change our stance, and rest assured the parts you buy from us are of the highest quality.
