Hard to tell. I would install it and see how far it hangs down after you add the weight of the engine.

Yes, they are ready for replacement. When I replaced mine, I bought the 993 C4 mounts, much cheaper than 964, and they have worked very well for me.

Welcome to Rennlist Saab96.

Replacing worn motor mounts will improve your car's handling (and sometimes the shifting).
Here's a link to my motor mount experience; I chose to install Wevo motor mounts (no affiliation) but there are a couple good options.

Wevo m.m. installed - impressions

Yeah. I've just seen three sets of rear oem stock carriers terribly bent. Definitely a good idea to call rennline, buy their reinforced mount, and then send yours back to them for the rebate. It ends up not costing much and makes a big difference...since it won't bend...

I have to replace mine. Looks pretty straight forward but never done it before so I would like to see done first. Any videos out there the community can point me to? I tried Google/YouTube with no luck.

It's pretty easy. Support the engine with a jack. Replace each mount one at a time. You'll need the jack to adjust the height of the engine once a mount is removed to reinstall it.

I really was surprised how easy it was. I planned at least a few hours and it took me about 15 minutes.

You'll need a torque wrench to keep everything in spec. and a extension for the socket that removes the large lower nut. Both of mine came right off, you can always hit them with a little PB blaster a few days before the job if you're worried about them coming off.

I have a set of Wevo's available with both the blue and black pillows if anyone doing this is interested. Ultimately decided to just use my RS mounts for this...
