Default Headlight Relay Installation Help

Looking to install relays as part of a headlight upgrade (H5 to H4).

Does anybody have any pics of the install - where to tap into the electrical parts. I've seen Daniel Stern's schematic, however, it seems like there's more involved. I've seen the JWest install for the pre-89s and this is what I'm hoping for.

Maybe I'm just making it more complicated than it is?

Thanks in advance

Bumping this as I am curious as well- Love the schematics, but would understand much better with photos of the actual install!

Main issue is, the original wiring for the headlights uses a very long and complex routing, from under the fuse bux into the right inner fender, around the car under the bumper cover, and then into the left headlight. Thus, the original wiring is unduly long and thin to be used as relay triggers/to carry the post relay full load, and too complex to be removed/replaced by larger gauge wiring.
In the same bundle under the fender is the wiring for the blinkers, the fog lights and (I think) for the coolers/horn/alarm horn.

Still searching for a an answer to this question. I have a set of H1s I want to install and can't find a set of instructions on how to install the relays to protect the light switch. Any suggestions?

Try searching on the 964 of Pelican. I recall a very detailed installation thread.
