Hi all,
Wanted to share with you guys, the 964 C2 1992 of a friend -we are from France- who had some rust on the windshield, a common issue as you know...







He decided to let the great guys of a company called Carrosserie Ampère, they have more than 40 years of art of restoring cars, from ultra rare racing ones (906, 962...) to modern etc.










So let's go back to the 964, they decided to check also the fenders... Experience counts as we'll see.




Surprise...





By the way, the car was always stocked in a dry garage...
So they decided to respray all the car and changing all the seals.
They started working on that rust who was invited without notice.






Beside, there's worst : a 65 911






and better with a nice Aston Martin



Let's go back to the 964, the delicate work continues to prepare the paint and checking if there's no more issues on the doors and other sensitive parts.



A huge amount of time to prepare the windshield :0
At the same time, you had to order the crazy list of seals.





Ready for the painting cabin



New life begins









And they start to mount the fenders etc.









This sensitive part of the body is now ready for many, many years




Never forget to change this 5€ seal ! And obviously the others



I will keep you posted guys, the team is working also on the 911 2.0 and other beauties
