Default Taglines Porsche used over the years

Here are some compiled by copywriter bro of mine. Most of them best describes the 964 IMHO (especially a C4 in midnite blue metallic with connolly leather and DIY exhaust system.. )

1. (964 Turbo) Product benefits: Too fast. Doesn't blend in. People
will talk.

2. (964 C2) You may not have one in your garage, but you probably have
one parked in your mind.

3. (356 Spyder) Old cars go to scrapyards. Old Porsches go to museums.

4. (964 C2) The body is guaranteed for 10 years. The soul will last
forever.

5. (964 C4): It's like children. You can't understand until you've had
one.

6. (993 C2) Like peanut butter to the roof of your mouth.

7. (993 C2) Kills bugs fast.

8. (993 Targa) Now you can wave at the planes as you pass them by.

9. (996 C2): Youth is much better when you're old enough to enjoy it.

9. (996 Turbo) If you could own any car in the world, what colour would
it be?

10. (Boxster) The more children you have, the more practical it
becomes.

Anymore you guys can think up? Especially the ones used for the 964

Default More...

RS America: If you want air conditioning roll down the windows and hit the track at 150mph.

944: Every time David Finch drives his Porsche he brakes something (lists a bunch of records)

962: If you had to drive for 24 hours, wouldn't you want to drive a Porsche?

965: Look at it this way, it's either a really expensive sportscar, or a really cheep racecar.

I'm paraphrasing here, "We don't like to think of it as pre-owned. We'd rather think of it as previously obsessed over".

Wasn't there one for the 928 that said something in the way of, "Nevermind the Chauffer"??

The peanut butter one was always one of my favorites, second to the amusement park one.

I picked up a Porsche poster at a swap meet years ago - - forget which model was featured, but I absolutely loved the tag line:

"Compromise is for Politicians"

I believe there was a poster campaign is Suffolk along the lines of:

"If you've paid more than £12k, you're a sucker and you've been ripped off, you loser!"

"There are no old Porsches, only new owners"

Applies to all of us, no?

I like 'After driving a Porsche you come away with a little bit of Porsche in your soul. After driving a Ferrari you come away with a little bit of Ferrari in your hand'.

Ferrari - a collectors car. When you drive it, you need to go back and collect the bits that fall off!

There was the commercial for the 944 Turbo that said "Eats Ferraris for lunch but has been known to snack on Corvettes".
