Just had my ball joints and tie rods replaced also. Everything was knackered so glad I had them changed.
Only a few miles on the new set up, but everything feels tight and direct. No harshness.
Looking forward to your thoughts.

The car is back together and booked in for an alignment.
A couple of things I wish I had known beforehand.
1. Two of the new ball joint nuts were an odd size so I couldn't torque them with my metric set. I ended up refitting the old 15mm nuts.
2. It wasn't evident how you get the shaft of the ball joint and tie rod end to stay still while you torque them. The answer is to use a jack or lever to force the joint into the hole. The taper holds it.
Torque values were
3 x Ball joint nuts 65Nm
Tie rod end 65Nm
Sway bar ends 35Nm
Two bottom strut/shock bolts 135Nm
Top strut mount nuts 23Nm
Lock nut for inner tie rod to steering rack 70Nm

Just set off on this myself as well, same parts... so good to know about that nut.
Interested as well to find out your thoughts after driving a bit with em.

A few other things. You will need a 32mm spanner for the tie rod/steering lock nut and the other tie rod lock nuts are 22mm. The latter is not a size I have. Plus the ball joint nut will have to be torqued with a crows foot or similar. Disconnecting the sway bars and removing the brake guide ducts make the job a lot easier as well.

Alignment done. Front height set to 123mm and rear at 232mm, both off the standard measuring points. The weather is wet so I'll wait until the weekend to see how it handles.

A few things became apparent on the weekend run:
1. The power steering pump fluid supply couldn't keep up with the cornering. Given I've already replaced the reservoir I need to think about this. Maybe run with more liquid in it?
2. The clutch pedal had quite an effort and a graunching pedal action. I need to bleed the system and look at the pedal box.
3. The seat base needs better padding. I need to refoam it.
4. The front brakes squealed. New Porsche discs and Brembo HP pads.

With that done it is on to the clutch action. I’m not sure if it’s right or not, but it seems to need high pressure and is making a creaking noise. Maybe it just needs lubrication. I’ll remove it from the car and have a look.

The drive looks like a blast! It’s making me very jealous as my car is still in pieces waiting for parts for the engine overhaul. Living vicariously through your thread .....
Did you find any shift in the torque values when you rechecked the front suspension?

There were very minor tightenings, the most important of which were the two lower strut bolts. Given they set the camber, it was a good catch but it wasn't as if anything was left loose.

The clutch pedal was creaking on my last drive and felt quite stiff. I pulled the pedal box. It was off a C2 originally as I had issues with the original one back in 2013.
The box is a bit corroded but the action is smooth. I'm confused. Maybe the roll pin is broken internally?
Next step is to disassemble the mechanism.
