My bad, I was referencing this thread when I said you keep the sleeves with the Wolrod bushings, and in my head, I was thinking the sleeves and in reality, you are keeping the metal inserts in the center...

As to adding rear brake bias. I believe the C4 has too much front bias with the stock brakes. So if I add a bit of rear bias, the car should be more balanced and I will have better stopping power prior to the archaic abs system kicking in.
Ninemeister went to a 996 abs system on the gulf retro build they did a few years ago, that would be an interesting thing to do...but time and money...not happenen.

Did you sort out the crank pulley? I'm installing a Tom Amon nose bearing sleeve and it looks like a special tool is required to avoid damaging things I.e. You can't just lock the flywheel.

On the special tool. Yes you need one to hold the pulley. Also be careful not to bend your pulley removing it if it's been on there forever. And even further, do not allow anyone to stand, including yourself, in front of the pulley as you try to pop it off. Mine flew across the room and through the wall of the shop when it finally popped off. Needless to say, it was bent and I replaced it. Very expensive part.
There are DIY around to make the tool if you don't feel like buying one.

Yeah we did the same. Used a soda blaster from harbor freight and blasted them in the driveway...the entire property smells crisp and clean now...

So, I heard a little bit about Chris Walrod, are there any thoughts or experiences of his stuff versus the equivalent parts from Elephant?....perhaps the Walrod items are very specific to track use? Or vice-versa?
(not trying to be controversial, I'm just at the point where I need to start getting shopping lists together; now's the time to investigate and make informed decisions)
