To your original question, I also hear the diff locks on my C4 click when I turn the key to start. Sounds pretty similar to the sound I hear when i manually engage them using the dial. Interesting thing for me is that I didn't hear the locks click until after I bled them for the first time in quite a while using the manual turn the dial method. I bled both after one of the locks started leaking and I replaced the seals.

I new it! Exactly! I wasn't hearing things

Everything working well for you? No warnings or faults?

Once I rebuild, intend to do full 13pt bleed again.... Stay tuned....

All C4 peeps, why some Click and others say NO click on start?

No PDAS warning lights or fault codes for me. I'm waiting for some snow to fall to see if i can feel any difference in traction between the locks activating vs the standard front rear distribution.

That is the most humorous thing I've read in days...if you remotely expect to not feel a difference, you will be massively surprised...

If you have snow tires, first snow fall, go out early before the plows and find the steepest hill you can....wait for a few suv's to go first. And then just climb past them with ease as they struggle their way to the top...

Bump?

"All C4 peeps, why some locks Click and others say NO click on start?"

Sounds just as stated, like similar to turn console dial on?

Why would locks actuate on stand still startup?
