Default Broken Head stud and damaged cylinder/head.

Hi, first post on this forum and hoping for some advice/help.
Bought a 964 C2 -90, 150.000km with a broken head stud. Thought it was a leaking exhaust system but I wasn't that lucky.

Engine is dissembled and there is a damaged area on both Cylinder and Head.
What are my options?
Is there any way I could repair this? Tig welding, machine down cyl/head and put a gasket/shims to preserve compression or try to find 1 new cylinder + head?
Seen many that have upgraded with head/cylinder gaskets like the late -91:s, sounds very expensive.

Please help!

I'm not an expert but I think tou can weld that if you find the right guy. But if it was me I think I'd find a used/second hand head instead.

Head might be repairable, but that cylinder looks like toast. Used can be found. Just make sure that they are the same tolerance group as the rest of your good ones.

The cylinder is not usable and the head needs to be cleaned thoroughly and Zyglowed to see where that crack has progressed. If the crack is into the exhaust port, its junk.
