dunlop star spec sizing on Rs america
Looking for new shoes on my RS. A lot of people recommend the dunlop star spec. I have the stock rims on the car and the only suspension mods I have are lowering springs. The dunlops come in the stock size for the rear, but not the front. What size do you guys recommend for the front?

I run a 7" OE +55 Cup 2 on the front axle w/ 225/45/17 BFG Rivals and those run wide. Look like friggin' 235s on those 7" rims, plus they rub on the back inside even with the updated (thicker) steering stops. The car turns tho.

225/45/17 z1* on my replica 7.5" ET52. I get the exact same rubbing as Vandit, and with the exact same Porsche update.
255/40 in the rear and there is plenty of room. I run a 6mm spacer with the replica ET47 9" rears, making them into an ET41. There is still room to push them out another 2-3mm to fill the fenders. I never understood why Porsche spec'ed the rears to be so far inboard.

When I ran Hoosiers A6's in the old days on my stock 16" wheels, I ran 225/50 on the front 7" wheel with 5mm spacers and got minimal rubbing, without the thicker steering stops.
