Detroit (Michigan) chapter of W9O
Greetings! My apologies for the delayed follow up, but work has kept me rather busy.
Big thanks to Chris (dobermandad) for making it to the meet up. He was good enough to bring his car and his better half for the morning at St. John's. Even with only two cars, it's a fun way to see other cars up close and get an idea of who's involved in their 964s.
Posting a couple of quick pics here:
There's definitely interest in another gathering and anyone out there that might like to attend or organize, feel free to jump in. As sad as it can be to see summer end in Michigan, it ushers in the best driving weather of the year, and everyone's cars are typically dialed in to enjoy.
Have a great week guys/

Although we were the only two that showed up, I had a good time chatting with you. Also the Huevos Rancheros in that restaurant kicked ***. Jayne got the pancakes and was jealous haha!
After that we found an awesome road off Hines drive that we took home. Lots a twist and hills. Almost no traffic.

Ok guys bought a set of Fikse, so the cup1s Reps have to go. They're the MMs from Italy.
Let me know if anyone is interested. Once I get the new rims installed, they will be available.

They are in good shape. Could use some fresh paint or powder coat I think. I don't think any curb rash, I'll have to look when I get home, they came on my car when I got it. I don't want much for them. $500 and you can have them.
Yeah, xcoldricex, I've been eyeing those wheels for awhile, finally decided to buy them.

Unfortunately, I can't make it. Been wanting to get there for a year +! Makeman, who posts on the 997 forum has been talking about making it there as well.
October is the last one for the year, I believe. Will put it on the calendar!
