Default Gauge Restoration/Repair

Nice article. Do you have any specific advice for 964 gauges? Or 911 gauges...I don't know much, but mine are beginning to get a bit see through and the glass needs to be done since the safety film is delaminating.

I've seen a lot of people making color changes, style changes, etc...but if one wanted to do a real concours restore...what is original? At what point do you maybe go too high on the quality of the printing? Etc...what about the black. Is it supposed to be 100% opaque? Mine is not. It's close, but slightly translucent...
