Fuel Pressure Reading After Overnight? Zero?
been trying to diagnose a hard initial start without much luck. usually takes 2 tries in the morning after sitting overnight. after that there's no issue starting.
fuel pressure measured around 3.5 bar at idle and held at 3.5 bar after 20 minutes. within the specs as i understand them. i left the gauge on and went inside for the night.
in the morning it was zero (a good 12 hours at least).
i've replaced the fuel pressure regulator on top of the engine with no change but understand there may be check/retaining valve at the pump.
is zero pressure at cold start normal? any other thoughts?
thanks.

I would check the fuel pump check valve as those are prone to leaking (internally), thus losing FP if the car sits several hours or more. This item is screwed into the FP outlet.
