Default RS America Spoiler

Considering adding a RS America style spoiler. Has anyone had any experience with products from Gruppe Two or Getty Design? They have reproductions (which I know won't have the rubber trim).

I could order a real tail from LA Dismantler (and it's in the correct color) but for $3k I'm having a tough time justifying that price.

LA Dismantler prices are ridiculous while parts condition can be questionable. Not sure about Gruppe Two or Getty Design but another option would be to find a G series tail, same thing as the RSA except for the provision for a rear wiper. I often see them for under $1K.

I have a Guards Red OEM RSA tail and deck lid that is looking for a new home. Absolutely mint. Let me know if you are interested.

I too have a Guards Red deck lid with the whale tail. It is from a 3.2, and I have the bracket adapters for fitment to a 964. It is in great condition, and the rubber looks good. I intended to put it on my 964 four years ago, and then changed my mind. It has been sitting covered in the garage the whole time.

They are better than most but still require a LOT of work. The finishing cost for a fiberglass rear spoiler can sometimes cost nearly as much as the part itself.
