I keep wanting to add an elbow so it would seem as though fresher air is getting through, but I feel like the flex of motion in the elbow and intake would cause stress on the initial adapter piece.

How do the foam filters fair against a paper filter?

More concerned with how they filter, but air flow is good.

Anyone know the diameter of the pipe I need to make an attachment for the filter? 4 inch maybe?

I'd like to use on of those ones with a bend to move the filter closer to cool air. I see K&N has a kit, but I'd rather run a foam filter though, so looks like I'll have to make one custom.

My car actually came with a K&N installed in the air box. I replaced it with a paper when I drilled out the airbox.


Just kinda tired of fiddling with that factor box and those damn clips.
