Well it can do no harm, and remember each one sold puts me 10p closer to an Ami 8!

Don't do it, listen to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A dry sump system never will drain 100%, a sump system [normal road cars] will drain 98 %.

You may not drive with engine flush, it's to thin, and makes damage to an engine when you do!! When you make a engine flush with a dry sump system, the oil lines and cooler will not drain. The engine flush will mix with the fresh oil and could make problems!!

So the rules are: Car's with sump, engine flush no problem!
Car's with DRY sump [Porsche 911 etc.] do not flush!!!!

When you do the flush with dextron, the rest will mix with fresh oil, but this makes no damage to the engine, dextron is a lubruicant and no cleaner!

Please do not be stubburn, and take this advice, Other technical trained people will give the same advice!!

we have a pet Rolls mechanic who swears by using parafin oil, letting the car idle for 10mins then flushing out, havent tried it with a dry sump Porsche but it works well with a Testarossa

Default Flushing

One of the problems with flushing is that it may dislodge sludge that would otherwise stay where it is. With the engine running, this is then circulated through the engine bearings etc. With a dry sump system the oil is not so prone to contamination as it is not so exposed to combustion bypass.
