Yup, agreed . 3.6 turbo has seriously uprated suspension, dampers, springs , bushes etc and is not noted for ride quality .18s dont help.

I have just fitted KW suspension kit for my 964RS I am very happy with it. The car is slightly more compliant on road but still plenty stiff for track. I have managed just the one track day with it so far, there is a lot of adjustment availiable but i'm happy to stick with KW's initial settings for now. KW also do a kit for the C2.

I loaned my RSA to Bilstein last year to allow them to test the then new PSS9 kit for the 964. In exchange for the loaner and my feedback, I got to keep the setup. Prior to this change, I had a one-off coilover setup that probably fell somewhere in the range of adjustment for the PSS9's. Bottom line is they are great. The adjustablilty from 1-9 is more significant than I anticipated. The softest (9) is more compliant than the stock RSA setup over bumps (undoubtably aided by the helper springs) and the stiffest (1) is too hard for all but a smooth track. This, of course, also depends on your tire and wheel package. But for my dual purpose car, the adjustability of the PSS9's is ideal for transition from street to track. The added benifit is that it allows you to make precise adjustments to the car during the day (i.e. rears on their last leg? soften up the rear a few clicks or stiffen the fronts). Much quicker and easier than sway bar adjustments. Well, thats my $.02 anyway.

I have LEDA's with slightly stiffer springs on the way for my C4 widebody... hopefully they'll be better than your experience with PSS9's AVoyvoda

No, the 965 3.6 trubo has 18 inch Speedlines!!!

The 965 3.3 turbo has 17 inch Cups!

The wheel carriers from the 965 3.3 Turbo are the same like the widebodey C4!

But the 965 3.6 turbo has the newer and forged wheel carriers that allow to ride the 18 inch wheels!

The suspension imho is also different at all 3 cars!

mine was a variant 3 kit type number 352 71 013 This kit is only suitable for use with Porsche monoballs. KW also do a kit for regular C2. I had my first track day at Brands Hatch recently, i was very pleased with the results. The car is more compliant whilst remaining stiff and the car feels better under braking also.

I just fitted the PSS9 set-up with settings 6 rear and 5 front. I.e. a little softer in the front. Just came back from a 2 hr trip on winding roads. The difference between the stock set-up and the PSS9 is incredible. It is like getting a completely new car. Before the were quite a bit of body roll, and it did not feel safe to go fast. Now the car turns like it is on rails, and it feels really good, much safer than before to go fast. Also, altough the PSS9 set-up is considerably stiffer than stock, it still is quite comfortable.
