Default My 2nd RWB Project 1989 Porsche 964 C4 backdate Raul Welt RWB Conversion Thread

Earlier this year I had Nakai San of Rauh Welt of Japan fly over to convert my 1995 Porsche 993 into RWB Los Angeles Serial #1 car. It was such an amazing experience and I am glad many rennlist members were able to come out to the meet and greet event and see his work in person. Since May the car has been touring the car show scene and eventually made her way to SEMA 2014 in the iForged booth.

I was so impressed by the experience that I spent about 3 months looking for a clean 964 to build my 2nd RWB Project. After months of searching I actually was able to find a clean car in the Rennlist classifieds and today she is mine.

After many conversations with Nakai san we are now going to build the US first Rauh Welt backdated 964.

So here she is in stock form. 76k on the odometer and in amazing condition with a recent reseal . I have not decided yet if i am going to respray Guards Red or choose a completely different Porsche OEM color.

Mixed feelings about the RWB conversions, especially on a pretty decent 964 example. Interested to see the results. Like the RWB look or not, I certainly will not say anything bad about Nakai San's quality of work, and vision.

looking forward to this, very interested in a back date RWB car.
is it going to something like his 930 "stella" car?
I think we met in Miami at Wefest, I had the 993 on gold BBS wheels.
good luck with this build!

Debating the conversion myself, I can't wait to see the results (especially since I have the exact same car as yours...)

I hope this one gets a monster motor to go with the look... It's hard for me to except the limited performance of these builds.
