UK: 964 fuel return pipe help
Hi guys,
I'm new
Full introduction on my '89 964 C4 to come soon. For now though, it's first service in my ownership one week in has turned into an engine drop and reseal, top end rebuild and an eye watering load of 'while we're in there' jobs, plus new exhaust, brakes - the works. I'd done my homework on the 964 on the whole, so knew the potential of what I was in for. The Indy's report didn't come as a surprise!
The first thing to say is that this forum has been a blessing. I've learned a lot already.
The thing that we're struggling with at the moment is sourcing a replacement for the long metal fuel return pipe. I've been advised that mine is corroded and needs replacement but is apparently no longer available. Can anyone shed any light and give me an idea where I can obtain in the UK or further afield?
Lots more questions to come I'm sure.
Many thanks
Behr.

Or try and locate a used one from a porsche breakers. They can look a little crusty but this is sometimes just surface corrosion. Before ditching it, rub back the corroded areas to get a better appreciation. If it's not too deep then rub back the whole line and repaint. Swapping out the line for a modern PTFE inner, and coated over braided line is another option but will require more mork. It will last forever tho.
