The stainless sleeve looks great. Where did the rubber boot come from please or is it the stock 964 item? It looks like a very good fit around the tube.

Why not call rothsport and see if they can have someone machine a shift pattern into the top of the 1 piece short shifter they sell.
I imagine they'd gladly do a group buy for us. I have the piece and it's really great. Awesome feel, super clean look and functional too as it shortens the throw.

Because the rothsport shifter is $400 where as these should be sub $100.
Just realized that BFI makes a **** for our cars, wonder if we could chat with them to get the proper shift pattern engraved as well as get them anodized: http://store.blackforestindustries.c...heweshknp.html

I'm really liking that BfI **** as a possible alternative. Plus, the center piece seems removable,,and any local engraving shop should be able to fabricate the circle with the appropriate shift pattern.
