Streetdaddy, That looks like one of Elihu's?

I've just purchased this off Elihu, Corian black 74mm x 46mm where the sphere tapers into the shaft.

Once it arrives I will begin looking for metal sleeve and I've purchased a second OEM boot to recolour and cut down.

Looks great! I should be getting mine this week. I will show you what it looks like with the sleeve. If you like the looks of mine i would be glad to send you one. I will install my **** and then get one custom cut. I had Elihu send me a spacer to keep the **** as high as possible. I like the look of a few inches of shaft showing. Plus i like the easy reach of the higher shifter.

I had him shorten mine to 65mm....also to show more shaft...hope it doesn't look "squatty"

A sleeve would be great thanks, look forward to seeing your pictures all fitted up.

Elihu has left the hole deep so I can adjust the height, i like the idea of some of the metal shaft showing too so hopefully i can get at least 1-2 inches of exposed metal sleeve on show.
Will fit it up and see how long I need.

With the long exposed sleeve, I don't think your 65mm will look too squatty.

You're not worried that the longer shifter will result in a longer throw?
How much longer than stock do you imagine yours will be?

Were talking mm's,really. I don't think you would ever really be able to tell. If i ask realllly nice, maybe i can get my wife to bring it to me. Although we are supposed to get record low temps tomorrow here in Nashville. She won't want to slug the kids across town in that!

Let me know if you need a sleeve. I will go this week to have mine cut. I can cut you one if you like the look of mine. I have sent out 2 already.

OK then, so very marginal difference so should feel very stock still.

You will have to ask the wife nicely.
I was in Nashville in August last year and it was scorching hot, can't imagine the place in any other temperature.

I don't imagine my **** will arrive in Australia for some time, your photos will give me something to hold out for.

I'd love a sleeve thanks!
Can you please cut it the same length as yours, perhaps minus 5mm?
I can then adjust locally for a perfect fit if need be.

PM and I will paypal you for yours costs and postage, etc!

Sure. When you get your **** and have it fitted, let me know the exact length you need. That way you won't have to mess with having it cut again.
