dealer is telling me it has a diff part # - same as the turbo and something else....

is there any reason this car would have a diff drivers side seat belt than any other 964 ?

i highly doubt porsche made a "special" for a run of 900 or so cars...

RS and Speedster have the same belts..... I think the belts are slightly loonger IF I recall correctly compaired to normal C2/C4
(1989 had 928 part no and 90-91 has their own as well...after this same part no on all the Black belts)

Same seatbelt (at least from looking at the black part #), it's just that color options were available for your Speedster which were not available for "regular" C2/C4s.

Are you buying new or used?

Midway through production Porsche equipped the 964 seat belts with tear seems. There are also differences in the locking mechanisms depending on whether or not you have airbags. So it's not really speedster specific.


They use to make special runs of parts in far fewer quantities than 900.
