Thanks for all the feedback gents.
ATM I'm leaning toward the black seats. Too much red can be a tad too dainty - think black seats may break it up well and keep a meaner look.
Note that the pics above are purely for colour purposes.
Next favour, could someone please kindly turn the carpets black in this pic?
Indeed. Was the one that put me on the Southbound scent. IIRC he sold it last year.

I am doing something very similar with mixing black and grey on my 964. Its a balance that needs to be done just right, too much of one or the other colour could tip it and make it look wrong IMO.

As you say, It's a difficult balance to get right. Originally was thinking just black leather and red stitching everywhere. Then contemplated a tan interior and then a fellow L9O'er suggested red and that's brought on a whole world of thought. Anyway she's being dropped off at the trimmers on the 20th so I'd better make my mind up.
I didn't know you were redoing the interior also? Tell me more.

A mixture of Red and black seems like the best way to go as too much red, could be a bit of an eyesore!
All black and a bit dull.
Black with red accents could work well and you've already started to head in that direction.

Frank you gotta watch out not coloring too much, mix I agree will look cool, but more black and then touches of red... Did you see Ken's (9e Ken) 64 after he got my trimmers to wave their magic. He went black but with lots of dominant red stitching, looks awesome.
Defo I would keep carpets black and then mix it up any way you like it.

Hi Frank,
Very nice
I was going to follow that interior scheme in mine. I even went as far as the same leather samples but opted for linen and black to keep the original colour spec. As compensation I'm having it in new Cayenne S (see below) - arrives January.
Have you found somewhere to buy those Singer Recoros or are you recovering the Poles?
Cheers,
Paul

Nice!
The pics are purely for colour scheme purposes. Seats, I'm staying period correct - 90s all the way
Mate thank you again for the help. If I may pester for another rendition - could you please kindly make the carpets black in both these pics?
