Quick question for you Gents in the US, How difficult to ship from US to UK?

I explain, I'm looking to buy an amp to complete my sound instal. Seller says $100 delivered to US but wants $200 delivered to UK!

Says it's a lot of trouble to do. What's your thoughts?

Go to http://www.interparcel.com/quote/ you should be able to ship for about £30. It will let you arrange and pay too, if he is playing ball!

I've told him I'll arrange the courier, so we'll see.

He was worried about filling out loads of customs forms!

I purchased an amp from the us to uk from eBay and all the international taxes and shipping was handled by eBay. Very good service.

eBay are good that way now this is via a specialist audio forum tho.

On the plus side he has agreed so far!

There is only one customs form for the seller to fill out, it asks what is being sent, where from, where to and how much paid for item (so the Queens excise men can exact their toll)

Nothing to it at all..
