Fancy making a joke at a time like this!

Besides, what are you doing online when I'm talking to you?!

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Just about everyone on this board could be a ticket candidate on any given day, I'm sure. So far, I've been blessed with the luck of the Irish, at least in the Porsche. I think its because nobody notices Guards Red and they can't hear me coming. (undertray attached)

I had my car two days (still had the dealer temp tag in the window), got a ticket for 85 mph in a 55mph. Cop asked "do you know why I pulled you over now?" I said "no". he said "I could tell in a few moments I could have had you for a lot more." He was right I was moving thru traffic on the belt way around Baltimore and had just gotten to the front, no cars for about a mile, and I was about to open it up!! These cars are great!!!!!

The positive thing is that the cop liked the Porsche, I did nice to him and made no problems to him.....may be that helps to lower the fine.

My wife does not say anything to me since 7.30 p.m., may be tomorrow she will talk to me. I was on tour for her, went to Ikea to get some curtains she wanted...

What the hell!

Don't let them bring you down!!!
These cars are faster but they are a hell of a lot safer!
There should be different limits for different cars, Hell a Relient Robin couldn't stop HALF as fast as me!!

Oh well back to reality!

Does removing the under tray make the car noticably louder?

Arjan, sh*t happens. I have a lawyer that I use. She "fixes" tickets by getting the charge reduced to something like "defective equipment" That way, no points, and the insurance doesnt increase for 3 years. I have never had to get her to fix one for XXXmph, however. That may be a challenge.

You are lucky you are not in Germany. They shoot out your tires there if they are pissed.

I almost got a ticket doing 60 mph in a 35 zone. The rookie cop didn't have a radar on me but pulled me over anyway. First thing he told me was he knew I was driving more than 35 mph because my rear wing was up and it only raises when speed exceeds 50 mph (He think he knows about Porsche). Reacting quickly to his comment, I told him that I raised it manually to ventilate engine heat (It was 90F that day)! He asked me how and I showed him with a twist of the ****. Since he has no hard evidence of me speeding, he gave me a warning and send me off. He must felt like a idiot making that technical comment. I guess I was just lucky!

My wife is talking again to me this morning... so I think she will forive me.....

I am looking for a laser detection option on my Bell tronics radar detector, so I think that will help for the next time........

You guys think being funny about the undertray, the sound is more louder without it, but mine is under there again, and NO, the officer didn't look for it, to much sound is in the Netherlands no item, wem can almost do what we want on that issue.

Have fun and.......take care,

Arjan

Yes. Not a lot but yes. Actually, I don't know how much because my exhaust is far louder.

Arjan, the laser detection on most radar detectors don't work. Technically it does work but because laser radars are instant-on, one target oriented, non-spreading beam (does not bounce off of cars). By the time your radar picks up the laser you've already been clocked, too late to do anything! I have a Passport 8500 and it has never forewarn me of laser radar until I'm in the speed cop's line of sight.

Regards,
