I'd paint the wheels a tad lighter than gun metal and the roll bar to match perhaps? What does Nath say?

I'm with Frank on this one... polished and match the wheels.

But hey, colors are very subjective.

What about blue to match the rest of the car for something different?

Id been contemplating this for a while, Cobalt is certainly the colour to carry it off and brushed looks awesome on the original and 991 targa.

I know Toms got some Rubystone left so thats always the third option 😊

I have a white targa and I am really thinking baout color matching the bar to see what it looks like.

My original bar has somme missing paint where the top meets the bar

I have seen several targa bars painted the body color...IMO in never turns out well. Satin black, polished, or brushed looks best to my eye. And these largely depend on the body style of the car ie, longhood, impact bumper, or 964. You want the bar to accentuate the rest of the trim on the car.

There is a red color matched targa for sale somewhere right now. Can't remember where I saw it. eBay, auto trader or cars dot com...but yeah, I agree, no go...

Agreed that body colored never turns out well, and that red one for sale looks terrible (subjective of course). I vote for a silver/brushed finish like this one

Brushed SS or original black finish.

There are some things the factory got right!

That black looks lovely! That might just render any voting null and void.

Need a roll cage me thinks...
