Ps Anybody seem the 98S RHD 996 Coupe on the autotrader website........silver high miles FSH around £24K....thats by far the cheapest I have ever seen!

Hows your 993 going by the way?
I would not say that it was painful (as i kept my 964 for 18 months and still made a profit on it ), just very tiresome.

The 993 is great. It drives superb, looks the part, and I even prefer it to my 6 month old M3 cab that I have just sold.

Same here...Got a 964, loved it, drove a 993, bought one, drove a 996, keeping the 993..

By the way Coupes are the best sellers overall, forget asking a premium for Cabs any time unless the we have a freak hot summer........why did Porsche not do a hard top for 964s??? Missed opportunity there.
Looks like Christer and Phil may know more about this than me. I'm still surprised by this though - and wonder if it is true of the 993 and 996s too?
