Ruf 17" Speedlines for sale
I've finally decided to part with a perfect set of Ruf 17" Speedlines wheels I've had for years. They were refinished by Scooters wheel works in Oregon (best in the business) they have Titanium spokes with polished lip. The sizes and offsets are as follows: Fronts 8x17 ET 56.7 and Rears 9x17 ET 44. Yes they're a bit heavier then the Cup 1s, but they look awesome. Tires are 3-4 years old but only have 200-300 miles on them. They are Conti DWs Extremes in 225/45/17 and 255/40/17s as new. I'm located in Seattle and would prefer a local sale if possible. I have boxes but only for the wheels. Feel free to call me to discuss. Thanks, Mark 206-890-4615

Beautiful wheels.
I see the "heaviness" of these 17" Ruf Speedlines mentioned a lot but this source cites the weights as roughly equal to or less than the equivalent Cup 1's: http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php
To wit:
8" Cup 1 - 10.0 - 10.6 kg
9" Cup 1 - 11.8 kg
versus
8" Ruf Speedline - 10.0 kg
9" Ruf Speedline - 10.0 kg
Someone with both sets of wheels, unmounted, needs to confirm or disprove these reported weights once and for all, and put this "heavy" myth to rest.
